Born on January 26th in Baltimore, Maryland, Nick attended and graduated High School from The Park School of Baltimore, Maryland, where he was featured in many school performances and plays, and after being early admitted to Syracuse University, Nick spent most of his collegiate years: taking pictures and writing for various University affiliated publications, DJ’ing and hosting various on-air shifts, as well as co-hosting the Z Morning ZOO for 89.1 FM -WJPZ, Inc.
After his sophomore year at Syracuse, Nick participated in the Walt Disney World College Program in Orlando, Florida, where he had the opportunity to work at Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney MGM Studios, and perform in front of thousands of people a day. Always wanting to keep himself busy, Nick founded his own Music Webzine (13res Magazine), and conducted interviews of bands, as well as photograph their live performances.
For the better part of the last decade, Nick had been a professional photographer, working for and having his work published in magazines like Rolling Stone, Inside Lacrosse, FHM (For Him Magazine), and the book, “Lacrosse: North America’s Game.”
Along the way he was named a finalist in Alternative Press’s Freelance Photographer Contest as well as one of fourteen college photojournalists in the country to be accepted to the Annual Collegiate Sports Journalism Seminar at Churchill Downs (home of the Kentucky Derby) in Louisville, Kentucky.
At the suggestion of his mother, Nick began taking acting classes in New York City, where he honed his craft enough to decide to make the move to Los Angeles. Nick hasn’t stopped working professionally since the day he got to town, landing supporting and lead roles in over 10 films, 3 national commercials, as well as hosting the number-one rated show "Best Friend's Date” on the Nickelodeon owned “N” network.
Since he can remember, Nick always wanted to entertain people. Whether it was doing voices or little skits at family functions, or making home movies or music with his two brothers, he has always maintained a DIY mentality to his art, and life in general. If he wasn't allowed to write for the school publication, he'd create his own. If he wasn't chosen to be in a play, he'd write and act in his own movie. If he couldn't get a job at a pet store, he got one taking care of and traveling with exotic animals, such as monkeys and alligators.
In his spare time, Nick has played bass and sung back up vocals for punk/blues outfit Bad Mitten, and the rock group, Glen Echo, with whom he recorded a demo album, played numerous shows in Los Angeles, and showcased at the world renowned SxSW (South By South West) Music Festival in Austin, Texas. Currently, Nick is developing a multitude of feature films for his new production company “Orange Bird Productions,” continuing his training as an actor, and lending his spare time to UNITYSHOWS (www.unityshows.org), a non-profit organization that raises money to build youth centers and all age music venues all over the country.
